Worksheet 2: “From discrete…”

This WS-2 concentrates on the relation of three concepts, the average rate of change of the running total, the moving average and the area under the daily deaths. It is expected that the students arrive at the conclusion that the moving average is both, the average rate of change of the running total and the height of a rectangle with same area under the daily deaths. This, of course, is Barrow’s theorem in the discrete case. The next WS aims at passing this conclusion into the continuous case.
